
Ahmed Amer is a Beirut-based fashion designer and illustrator whose brand, amer, blends minimalist aesthetics with organic illustrations. Inspired by the city's vibrant energy and rich history, Amer's designs reflect a unique blend of tradition and modernity.
After studying Interior Architecture, Ahmed joined Creative Space Beirut, where he refined his skills and presented his thesis collection at a live fashion show. His journey has been marked by notable achievements, including participation in Project Runway, winning the Open My Med competition, winning the Fashion Trust Arabia 2023 Ready-To-Wear prize, and serving as a Creative Director at Inaash, a social enterprise focused on Palestinian embroidery heritage.
Amer's collections are characterized by their gender-fluid appeal, and innovative illustrations. His work is deeply rooted in emotional expression, often inspired by quick improvisation and a wandering imagination. In 2022, Amer launched his first menswear fashion presentation at Arab Fashion Week, showcasing his distinctive style.

Ahmed’s multidisciplinary work extends beyond fashion, creating murals, textile artworks, and the visual identity for Em Sherif au Musée at the Sursock Museum. He also led an illustration and memory workshop at Château Borély in Marseille, contributed embroidered panels to the Lebanese Pavilion at the Venice Architecture Biennale 2025, and participated in We Design Beirut 2025.
Beyond his design work, Ahmed is passionate about teaching and community engagement. He has taught fashion illustration at Creative Space Beirut, conducted workshops for the public, and collaborated with various artists and designers. As a volunteer at SDC Lebanon, he has been an advocate for youth and children's rights, actively addressing issues faced by the country.
